Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus

So what is MRSA?

MRSA is a bacterium that causes skin infections, pneumonia and blood infections that can be very difficult to treat due to the fact that it is resistant to many antibiotics and can lead to death. MRSA is found on both humans and animals. Can be spread by skin to skin contact or from contaminated surfaces.

MRSA kills about 18,000 Americans a year.

The United Kingdom was the first to discover MRSA in 1961. It wasn't until 1981 that MRSA showed up in the United States, found mainly among i.v. drug users.

Today MRSA is found everywhere and is getting harder to treat and more people are being infected at an alarming rate. From 1999 to 2005 the infection rate rose in hospitals from 127,000 to 278,000. Deaths on the other hand rose from 11,00 to more than 17,000.

But for 2005 alone it was estimated that MRSA was responsible for 94,360 serious infections, and 18,650 hospital stay-related deaths.

These statistics suggest a national epidemic

Can you prevent a MRSA infection? YES!

MRSA is infecting us because our immune system is weak and our PH balance is on the acidic side. Now you may think you are in good health, but the truth is our foods do not supply us with what we need anymore, due to the way food is produced and the lack of nutrients, minerals that are no longer in the soils we grow in.

That is why I now use essential oils and supplements that use essential oils in them, in this way I am regaining many of the lost nutrients in everyday foods.

We all need to learn how to eat better for a proper ph balance this along with rebuilding our immune system will stop us from being infected by this bacteria, our bodies will protect us if, it is running at it optimal level, that's how it was designed.
