My Battle With And How I'm Treating MRSA

treating mrsa

How I got it and how I'm treating mrsa.
As a healthy 44 year old male I found myself having to deal with this life threatening bacterial infection while on a 5 day fishing trip.

The first thing I noticed was a small pimple
on my pinkie finger on my left hand. I was on the fishing boat at the time, we had just got in from catching King Mackerel and I was cleaning up to go for another fishing trip.

And as I have done so many times in the past, I used a piece of trolling wire to pop the pimple and then squeezed it to get the pus out. Bad move on my part for two reasons, One I used a dirty wire from off the deck of the boat, and two I squeezed it. That just gave the MRSA bacteria a bigger area to infect.

It needs to be stressed mercer bacteria doesn't need a wound to infect you. The bacteria can enter in through a hair follicle and depending on the strain of mercer, even a healthy person can now get a bad infection

The next thing that I noticed was swelling around the joint. That was just a few hours after I had popped and squeezed it. But there was something else that was a sign of MRSA.

My joints and feet had been hurting me for about a week before this infection. Now I know these are some of the symptoms of MRSA.

I tried treating MRSA with black drawing suave this only made my hand hurt more. The second day, to make things worse I had caught the same pinkie finger on the edge of the fish box and thought I had broke it.

What you see in the above picture is not where the infection started but when I damaged my knuckle on the fish box the mercer bacteria took advantage and moved deeper into my hand. Treating MRSA without some kind of medicine is a no win situation.

treatment of mrsa

My treatment of mrsa, began with surgery on my left hand between the tendons of my last two fingers, however it took going under the knife twice, before the infection stopped eating at the tissue of my hand.

MRSA treatment was stepped up after the first surgery when the MRSA infection tried to spread across the whole hand. Using two types of I.V. antibiotics and better wound care.

Treating MRSA is more than just cutting away bad tissue, but it did get rid of the infected meat leaving a larger area of my hand exposed, Thank God the infection stopped and started to heal from that day forward.

The treatment for mrsa, starts with, in my case, two very potent antibiotics that I received by I.V., and if surgery wasn't enough, I also had what they called whirlpool therapy, where the tissue was worked on and old skin was removed.

In my case, treatment didn't end there,
like so many of us we received antibiotics to take for a few weeks.

My sister Linda did a lot of research for me and came up with a very interesting find. There seems to be some natural elements out there that GOD has given us to help battle sickness and this is what I stared taking Alli-C. and I'm still taking it today. It works great on the common colds too, I haven't been sick in all winter, as long as I was taking Alli-C.

It's a natural antibiotic made from garlic, with claims to kill over 300 strains of MRSA, but I have just found out there are over 10,000 strains out there some HA-MRSA some CA-MRSA. H stands for Hospital and C for community and A can be acquired or associated but these terms will soon be lost because the latest strain of MRSA came from the community and made it into the hospital and is turning into the SUPERBUG, treating MRSA is becoming a very difficult job for the health care industry.

There are Doctors that will tell you that treating msra is a life long process, But I hope and pray they are wrong. I have been told, that after taking all the antibiotics, some people with severe cases of mercer will have another outbreak right away. So there is only a treatment for the infection and not a treatment for mrsa.

But I am taking something for treating mrsa and I will keep everyone updated on my progress.
