MRSA Carrier and Carriers.
MRSA carrier can be any numbers of things, but we think about people first as carriers. The truth is that a person can be a carrier of the MRSA bacteria and show zero signs of an infection. Healthy people don't even realize that they have been colonized with the MRSA bacteria, and the may never get infected, but they pose a risk for anyone else.
colonization
takes place in the nares or as we know it the nose, and also on the skin, but the bacteria also lives on surfaces in our homes and work place. They are finding this bacteria in places that have already been disinfected, so that means that not only is MRSA antibiotic resistant, but is also becoming resistant to disinfectants. Now that's a little scary!
Here are some things you can do to limit the chances of you becoming a MRSA carrier
- Wash your hands often.
- Do not share razors or towels with anyone, including family members.
- Start using Turmeric spice in your cooking, it is showing to be very helpful in stopping the bacteria from using you or your loved ones as a host.
- Your diet is very important! Bacteria thrive in acidic host so your alkaline levels will determine how well the bacteria can survive
on your skin making you a MRSA carrier
