How MRSA has opened my eyes.

Got MRSA while fishing.
After spending many years in the fishing industry, with lots of cuts and wounds that never got infected, I now wonder how I went so long without getting a mrsa infection?
As I do more research into this MRSA bacteria, I am finding that it is really easy to get this infection. Just touching any surface, that has been exposed to MRSA bacteria, we can get infected if we have a open wound, and with me, as a commercial fisherman, with many open wounds at any given time I am almost afraid to go back fishing again.
It turns out, what once was a hospital infection, is now becoming more and more common in our every day lives. As a matter of fact, it is called CA-MRSA, which stand for Community associated MRSA.
My eyes have been opened to the fact, that it is a very bad bacteria, that is antibiotic resistant, and now, I just read about today, how it is being found in hospitals, where they had already disinfected the area, but the bacteria was still present.
Last week I read about MRSA in beach sands from Cali. to Oregon, and they are telling everyone not to be buried in the sand, like we use to do as kids!
